Common purposes

The use of the area is determined for common purposes in the form of school, institutions, cultural and sports facilities, recreational purposes and similar public and cultural purposes associated with the school area. Undeveloped areas that have not been laid out for other purposes may only be designed or used as common public open spaces and must be given a design that harmonizes with the area's location and use.

The area comprises an area of approximately 2 ha corresponding to 20,000 m2.

New buildings may be built in up to 2 storeys, corresponding to one storey with utilized attic.

The area has a residual space of 1528 m2 corresponding to the laid out construction sites as shown in Appendix 1. Within construction field no. 1, a playground, plastic grass, ball field and the like may be built. corresponding to a total area of 1360 m2. Within building field no. 2, a building may be erected for cultural purposes, corresponding to an area of 168 m2. When the above building option has been utilized, the area is considered fully developed and without residual space.

The area is served by Illumiut, Pitoqqiup Aqquserna and Nuisariannguaq.

No special provisions

Clause zones have been established around the airport in the form of obstacle-free surfaces which consist of partly a horizontal plane and a conical surface and partly of approach and departure surfaces in the extension of the runway. The area is located within the obstacle-free level at the airport and is covered by indoor and outdoor areas. The maximum tilt elevation for buildings and structures and construction elevation for roads is variable and depends on the distance to the runway and a perpendicular distance from the center line. The area is located below the obstacle-free level of the airport and is covered by the horizontal surface where buildings and other facilities may not be built above elevation 73.0 meters and roads may not be constructed above elevation 68.0 meters.
