    The area is designated for residential purposes with open-low residential development, such as detached single-family houses, low-density housing like townhouses, and one-story apartment buildings. There is the possibility of establishing a grocery store. Unbuilt areas that are not designated for other purposes may only be arranged or used as common public open spaces and must be designed to harmonize with the area's location and use.

    The area covers an area of some 48 ha

  • Building provisions

    In detail areas A30.1, A30.2, A30.3 and A30.5, new buildings are to have a maximum height of one storey and shall not exceed a height of 7.5 meters to theroof ridge. In detail area A30.1-2, new buildings are to have a maximum height of two storeys with up to two floors but must not exceed a height of 10 meters to the roof ridge. In detail area A30.4, no new construction is permitted.

    In the development of this municipal plan supplement, detail area A30.1 has a remaining capacity of 4 building plots. Detail area A30.5 has a remaining capacity of 4 building plots. When the above-mentioned building opportunities are utilized, the area is considered fully developed and without remaining capacity.

    Road access to the area is to be from Mittarfimmut Aqqut and Akinnguata Qaava.

  • Regulated zones

    Regulated zones exist around the airport in the shape of obstacle limitation surfaces that consist of partly a horizontal surface and a conical surface, partly approach and take-off surfaces in continuation of the runway. The area is located under the obstacle limitation surface at the airport and is covered by approach and take-off surfaces. The maximum ridge level of buildings and facilities and the construction level of roads are variable and depend on the distance to the runway and a right-angled distance from the centre line. The area is located under the current airport’s obstacle limitation surface, and is covered by the horizontal surface, where buildings and other facilities cannot be established higher than level 73.0 meters and roads no higher than level 67.0 metres. Obstacle limitation surface for new airport has a horisontal limitation surface in 75,0 meters level.
