The area is to be used for port purposes involving dock and pier facilities, terminal functions and similar port facilities. The offshore area may be used for anchoring and mooring

The area covers an area of some 1 ha

New buildings are to have a maximum height of 12 metres

The area has 8,000 m² of available space, depending on the final layout of the buildings. Once the abovementioned building potential has been utilised, the area is considered fully developed without any available space in the area.

Road access to the area is to be from Arsaaffimmut

No special provisions

The area is covered by the explosives store’s safety zone. This part of the area cannot be developed or in any other way be used contrary to the safety zone provisions. Traffic in the area is to respect the safety zone around the explosives store; However, the public will continue to have access to the part of the area that is not fenced in. The area is located under the obstacle limitation surface at the heliport (overflight area and transition surface), where the maximum rigde height of buildings and facilities varies with a positive slope away from the start and landing area.

When utilising the area, paths are to be established, providing the public access to the coast
