The area is to be used for activities within office, contractors, industry, warehouses, skilled trade, workshop, production and transport as well as port purposes involving dock and pier facilities, terminal functions and similar port facilities. The offshore area may be used for anchoring and mooring

The area covers an area of some 1 ha

New buildings are to have a maximum height of 12 metres

The area is fully developed without any available space

Road access to the area is to be from Orsuusiviup Aqquserna

B-32 is preservation-worthy. This building can only be demolished or its appearance changed following prior permission by the municipal council.

Regulated zones exist around the airport in the shape of obstacle limitation surfaces that consist of partly a horizontal surface and a conical surface, partly approach and take-off surfaces in continuation of the runway. The area is located under the airport’s obstacle limitation surface, and is covered by the horizontal surface, where buildings and other facilities cannot be established higher than level 171.0 metres and roads no higher than level 166.0 metres.

Boat storage and saltwater facilities may be established in the area. The area’s character as natural harbour is to be maintained. Heavily polluting companies are not permitted in the area
