The area is to be used for residential purposes with open-low residential buildings in the shape of detached single-family houses, dense-low residential buildings such as terraced houses etc. as well as residential multi-storey buildings

The area covers an area of some 11.5 ha

In detail area A6.1, new buildings are to have a maximum height of two storeys. In detail area A6.2, new buildings are to have a maximum height of two storeys, and multi-storey buildings are to have a maximum height of 3 storeys

The area is fully developed without any available space

Road access to the area is to be from Illumiut, Jørgen Sverdripip Aqqutaa and Qupaloraarsuk

No special provisions

Regulated zones exist around the airport in the shape of obstacle limitation surfaces that consist of partly a horizontal surface and a conical surface, partly approach and take-off surfaces in continuation of the runway. The area is located under the airport’s obstacle limitation surface, and is covered by the horizontal surface, where buildings and other facilities cannot be established higher than level 73.0 metres and roads no higher than level 68.0 metres.
