  • Use

    The use of the area is determined for technical purposes, such as reception station, waste incineration plant, with associated functions such as sorting facilities, iron and metal scrap and ship graveyard. Businesses can also be established in the area, which are normally seen in relation to those in section 1 mentioned functions. Undeveloped areas that have not been laid out for another purpose may only be arranged or used as common public open spaces and must be given a design that harmonizes with the area's location and use.

  • Current conditions

    The area covers an area of ​​approximately 1.1 ha, corresponding to 11,000 m2

  • Building provisions

    New buildings can be built in up to 2 floors. Buildings must at all times be placed within the building areas specified in Annex 2. Permanent buildings can be built on construction site 1. For construction sites 2-5, temporary buildings can be built, e.g. when erecting personnel containers, roofs, round-arched halls, etc. Buildings in building area 1 can be built with a building height of up to 20 m., measured from the original terrain. Buildings in other construction areas can be erected, with a building height of up to 10 m., measured from the original terrain. Chimneys, antennas etc. secondary building parts can be given a greater height.

  • Remaining available space

    The sub-area has a residual capacity of 600 m2 of permanent buildings in building area 1. In building areas 2-5, a total of up to 2,000 m2 of temporary buildings can be built, such as staff cars, round-arched halls etc. When the above building option has been utilized, the area is considered to be fully developed and with no remaining space.

  • Regulated zones

    The area is covered by the security zone for the explosives depot. This part of the area may not be built on or in any other way used in violation of the regulations for the safety zone. The safety zone around the explosives depot must be respected when driving in the area, however, there will still be public access to the part of the area that is not fenced off. The area is below the obstacle-free plane at the heliport (overflight area and transition surface). In the flyover area, buildings and other facilities may not be erected above an elevation of 59.8 metres. Below the transition surface, the maximum pitch is variable and depends on the distance to the flyover area.

  • Special provisions

    The area is permitted to be regulated with explosives. When using the western part of the area, consideration must be given to the cemetery, both so that it is not contaminated with waste, and thus material storage does not appear unsightly. There can be particularly polluting business in the area. When setting up a particularly polluting company, an application must be made for environmental approval in accordance with the Home Rule Government's order no. 11 of 20 August 2004 on environmental approval of particularly polluting companies, etc.
