Areas for industry and ports

The area is to be used for activities within office, contractors, industry, warehouses, skilled trade, workshop, production and transport as well as port purposes involving dock and pier facilities, terminal functions and similar port facilities. The offshore area may be used for anchoring and mooring

The area covers an area of some 1.6 ha

New buildings are to have a maximum height of 12 metres

The area has 4,000 m² of available space, depending on the final layout of the buildings. Once the abovementioned building potential has been utilised, the area is considered fully developed without any available space in the area.

Road access to the area is to be from Frederik Frederiksenip Aqqutaa, Piitakassap Aqqutaa and Aqqusinersuaq

No special provisions

The area is located under the obstacle limitation surface at the heliport (overflight area and transition surface), where the maximum rigde height of buildings and facilities varies with a positive slope away from the start and landing area.

The area may be filled in using quarrystone, and hill knolls – including Kødøen – may be regulated according to an approved subarea plan
