Areas for industry and ports

The use of the area is determined for commercial purposes within offices, construction companies, warehouses, production facilities, waterworks, jetties, natural harbors and boat docks. The lake area can be used for anchoring and mooring. Undeveloped areas that are not laid out for another purpose, may only be arranged or used as shared public open spaces and must be given a design that harmonizes with the area's location and use.

The area covers an area of ​​approximately 11,600 m2

New buildings can be built with a maximum height of 6 m.

The area has a residual capacity of approx. 1,400 m2. A new commercial building with associated functions can be built. In the area, fish racks can be established and containers for freezing and storage can be set up. Based on a concrete assessment, there is the possibility of an extension to the existing building.

Access to the settlement's other areas and functions is ensured from the area via the existing system of carriageways and paths. Within the area, roads, carriageways, paths etc. can be established which ensure access to the sub-area's functions and to the settlement's other surrounding areas and functions.

No special provisions

The area is covered by the safety zone for the tank facility. The safety zone has a radius of 20 meters from the outside of the tank facility limitations. This part of the area must not be built on or used in any other way contrary to the regulations for the zone.

Facilities and businesses that require special environmental approval can be established in the area, and the area can be used for particularly polluting companies covered by chapter 5 of Inatsisartutlov no. 9 of 22 November 2011 on the protection of the environment.
